Intership
Overview
Swiss German University offers a unique internship program requiring students to complete two mandatory internships—one in Indonesia and one abroad. The first internship, usually in the 3rd semester, introduces students to real work environments in Indonesian industries.
The second internship, taken in the 6th semester, allows students to apply their knowledge in Germany or other partner countries. This program builds strong international industry connections and enables students to gain valuable global work experience.

Internship Companies

Local
The local internship is the first mandatory internship taken during the 3rd semester. It places students in Indonesian companies so they can experience the real working environment early in their academic journey. During this period, students learn how technology, industrial processes, and company systems operate in real life, allowing them to connect theory with practice.

Abroad
The second internship takes place in the 6th semester and is carried out in Germany or other partner countries. In this phase, students apply the technical knowledge and skills gained in previous semesters within an international industrial setting. This internship offers global exposure, professional growth, and the opportunity to work with advanced technology and diverse cultures.
